My name is Jacob Schellinger, but everybody calls me Schell.

I am a UI/UX Designer with over seven years of hands-on experience building dynamic, user-focused web and mobile applications.

Over the years, I've found myself drawn more and more to the why behind great products. Why people gravitate toward certain interfaces, why some designs feel “effortless,” and why clarity always wins. That curiosity is exactly what pushed me from building applications to shaping the experiences behind them.

My background in full-stack development gives me a unique advantage: I understand the constraints, the structure, and the system-level thinking that make a design actually work in production. I've collaborated closely with cross-functional teams, jumped into messy codebases, and solved real-world UX issues across industries like insurance, hospitality, warehousing, and advertising.

Today, I'm focused on bridging the gap between design and development and creating experiences that are intentional, accessible, and scalable. I love digging into research, simplifying complex flows, and building design systems that empower teams to move quickly without sacrificing quality.
